Turtle watching is a fun and unique activity you can do while visiting Sri Lanka. The area on Sri Lanka’s west coast sees particularly high levels of sea turtles. Turtles are very nervous when they are looking for a place to nest and can therefore be easily scared. People have mixed feelings and comments about turtle watching in Sri Lanka, but commonly all are good and wonderful. Induruwa, Kosgoda, Akurella, Mawolla, and Rekawa are some of Turtle Nesting Places. Groups are led to nest sites to witness these beautiful creatures.
